Meet Ze Manuel

Ze Manuel owns and cares for the sheep that graze the land. He plants the grass for them to eat and also makes hay for the dry season so the natural lawn mowers can happily wander on the lands. At any one time he has about 250 to 300 sheep that he ultimately sells to support his family. He has two grown children. The son is a police man and the daughter is studying architecture in Lisbon.
