JOIN US FOR THE NEXT OLIVE HARVEST

An olive harvest is one of the most fascinating experiences you can enjoy in Portugal. It is a wonderful way to learn a lot about the local food traditions and the local culture. Those who have experienced it say that the enthusiasm of the olive farmers and the atmosphere in a working oil mill during the harvesting season is something unique.

It's a lot of work to make just one bottle of olive oil. Also, we have over 1600 trees to harvest so it's an intense period when the harvest comes around. Everyone on the farm joins in. Other projects get put on hold. And we can use all the help we can get.

We invite others who are motivated to join us to come and stay with us for a few days and experience an olive harvest. This all happens from mid-September to mid-November.

Your participation isn't just about harvesting olives; you'll be an integral part of the entire olive oil production process, gaining insights into the creation of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

Here’s what we offer for your commitment of 5 or more days:

  • Comfortable Accommodation: Enjoy a stay in one of our beautiful guest rooms located in our serene guesthouses.

  • Culinary Delights: Start your day with a hearty breakfast, refuel with a light lunch, and end with a sumptuous dinner shared around a large, cozy table with fellow harvesters.

  • Hands-On Experience: Receive expert guidance on olive picking and sorting techniques, contributing meaningfully to the harvest process.

This is a wonderful chance to create long-lasting friendships with individuals from all over the world and gain a sense of fulfillment from a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
